This is my attempt to capture motion but communicate it at the same time. I really like the effect.

Ice Storm

Took this picture last winter after an ice storm.

I did my best to capture the light coming through the ice that had formed on the branches of the trees.

Blue Sky at night

Another example of playing with the white balance. This time I believe I switched the setting to flourecent light. The sun was setting in this image.

Fall at Mount Nemo

The fall season this year has been stunning. The weather has been warm and as a result the colours have been stunning and long lasting.

Here are some of my attempts to catch the colour and warmth of the season. I ended playing with the white balance on my camera. Until now I have left it on automatic. However, shooting in the shadows of the forest I found that the pictures were coming out a bit blue, a bit cool. By changing the setting to shadow or cloudy, I ended up getting a much warmer image.
